Install PHIXER (2025 refresh)

1. Download
- Open Gumroad PHIXER
- Download the all-platforms package (PHIXER 1.2.3)
- Unzip the archive
2. Windows (x64)
- VST3 → copy the
.vst3bundle toC:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\ - CLAP → copy the
.clapbundle toC:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\
Rescan plugins in your DAW. Restart the host if the scan misses it.
3. macOS (Apple Silicon + Intel)
- VST3 →
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ - CLAP →
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP/ - AU →
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
PHIXER for Mac is Developer ID signed and notarized. If Gatekeeper prompts, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, allow the plugin, then rescan (Logic needs an AU validation pass). GarageBand / Logic-lite path: AU bedroom guide.
4. Linux (x64)
- VST3 →
~/.vst3/or/usr/lib/vst3/ - CLAP →
~/.clap/or/usr/lib/clap/
Point your DAW plugin path at the folder you used, then rescan.
5. First insert
- Load PHIXER on a stereo bus, dual-mic pair, or layered group that collapses in mono
- Start with Amount up; dial From / To around the hollow band
- Check in mono, then trim Amount to taste
